The exposure response therapy for OCD can feel very confusing and overwhelming, but Julie was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in breaking this down to tangible & easy exposures that my son could do in order to manage and gain control over his OCD.

My recovery was unexpectedly fast considering how bad my OCD was. She made things easily understandable and they were very useful and sometimes even fun. She really helped me.

I've been seeing Julie for about 6 months, and I can't believe how much I've changed from what I was before,( A very anxious kid that has panic attacks.) After I noticed my progress I was amazed, at how much I changed. All in all Julie is a very nice therapist that I would very highly recommend. She has a very nice and calming approach, and I'm not just saying this because she's my therapist she is truly terrific I have tried others and no one surpasses Julie.

Julie has been working with our daughter for the last two years. Our daughter has OCD and anxiety but with the continuous help and support from Julie, she is learning to manage her struggles and tackle everyday tasks. Julie's warmth and compassion while working with our daughter has made a huge difference in how she improves during her weekly sessions. Our daughter loves Julie very much that often times we extended our weekly meetings to twice per week. Julie is providing many tools for our daughter to deal with her OCD, and thanks to Julie's guidance, we worked to make an IEP plan for her to succeed in school. We appreciate Julie so much not just as a therapist, but as a person as a whole, and are choosing to stay with her practice even without an insurance plan.
