My approach with each individual includes a mindful presence, which embraces an openness and a creative approach toward possibilities. I join my clients to develop fresh ideas to old patterns and problems. With a strength based and CBT approach, I work with my clients to manage anxiety, problem solve,change negative thought patterns and fixed mindsets, and help them to become more resilient and find a stronger sense of self.
I have worked with individuals for over 25 years as a teacher, parent educator and counselor in school settings, group practice and private practice. I am also a certified mindfulness meditation instructor.
